SAVE ORGANIC SCRAPS

Teacher Resources

The Save Organic Scraps program provides educators with tools for environmental and recycling education. SOS is kicked off with an assembly or classroom presentations in elementary schools. The SOS program team provides lesson plans for teachers, classroom field trips, and student activities and presentations focused on the theme of the 4 R's: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Rot (compost). Teaching students the importance of keeping our environment healthy will stay with them for generations and translate to a sustainable future.
